Course: Big-L (4.95km)
Conditions: Sunny 13˚C, Wind SW
Summary: It was the clubs first race at new venue Speers Point Amateur Sailing Club (SPASC) and there was a sense of enthusiasm after being under COVID-19 restrictions. For some there were smiles just to have a social paddle and some socially distant conversations, for the racers they could get their much-awaited competitive fix, getting the heart pumping and trying to beat their personal bests (and maybe each other). There were some fast times so the COVID restrictions are working to the advantage for some, possibly a few less distractions and a need to get out and about?
Thanks for joining us and hope to see you on the water next club day
